When freedom is taken, a Warrior is born.

“Warrior One” Anime Test

Live-action scene from the “Warrior One” short film with an anime AI filter overlay featuring Troian Bellisario (“Pretty Little Liars”) as Jetta A and the voice of Mary Wells (“How To Train Your Dragon 2”) as BOT.

“Warrior One,” the graphic novel, is based on “The Vision Quest” novel series universe. The story is set on Earth, in the not-too-distant future, 100 years after the Great Quakes changed the world as we knew it. The planet has restarted, unified, and its people now live together in peace. We have put our genetics into animals, who remember our lost powers, and machines called the Black Guard. These biologically-based robots have become sentient and deemed us unworthy to be stewards of Earth.

Warrior One is told through the eyes of an ordinary seventeen-year-old girl named Jetta A. She, her family, and all her fellow citizens of Atlantia have become victims of the Black Guard’s extinction plan. Jetta’s father is murdered in front of her, and her brother and mother are taken. Jetta must learn to survive on her own. She must find water, food, and shelter, pick up a weapon, and make the decision to kill or be killed.
